Pet Product Demonstrator/Trainer

The candidate will: Conduct in-store demonstrations for a private label pet food company at retail store level. Develop network infrastructure with both store management and staff. Train store personnel on company's products. Maintain product presence at store level, report and track activities at store level. Communicate the learned private label company's product message and relay it to potential customers and store personnel. Represent all parties in a professional manner and work within the limits of the project budget. Attend training (will involve company reimbursed travel). Responsibilities include reporting inventories, out of stocks, product issues or problems and also merchandising to include rotating stock, stocking shelves, filling product samples, and facing product. Build relationships with store personnel to increase store associate recommendations. Train and educate store personnel on products at store level by conducting product knowledge and information training sessions. Be responsible for coordinating training sessions with store managers and arranging all training sessions, including presentations and materials necessary to complete the training.

Other Requirements: Minimum of a high school graduate required with trade show, retail sales, direct sales experience or an Associate degree in a related field preferred. Must have excellent communication and sales skills, be energetic, enthusiastic, personable, confident, available to work weekends and willing to travel. Must have a clean driving record.
